Out of My Comfort Zone

The top photos are right before I headed out to the event. I was so nervous and had a bunch of butterflies 🦋🦋🦋 in my stomach because I was going to this event by myself. I had been praying for peace and knew I was doing something good by going. The Come Together Event was thrown for women to come together to raise $50k for the Utah County CJC, which is a recovery center for abused children. It's an amazing company and my heart breaks for these children, but am glad there's an organization like the CJC especially because this is something that has always weighed on me as a teen and still does when it comes to problems in this world.

So I drove to the event and when I pulled in, I got there  on time and wanted to wait in my car initially for a few more minutes, but my stomach couldn't handle it any longer and just stepped out of my car to just get to it. My prayers were answered and it definitely wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I was able to meet a lots of girls and many inspirational women that I look up to and have been following on Instagram or watched on Shark Tank. It was such an inspirational night and I felt uplifted and renewed. The dance party was the icing on the cake at the end of the night!
** One of the things I learned that night was something that Late with Kate said. She said a stat that when it comes to a talent or skill you have, you are better than 10% of people of the population in this country. That's a ton of people! So spread your light and share what you have to offer so others can receive some light too! There are people searching for light and ready to cheer you on!
