^This is the first time I made them and my 3 year old said, "These are yummy, mommy!" They were gone quick :) |
I was at the grocery store and this time hadn't meal planned much, just had a short list. So as I was walking down the cheese aisle, I had an epiphany! Little cookie cutter pizzas for the boys with Pillsbury dough so they'd be easy! (I'm new, I'm not sponsored or anything in case anyone thought.)
I just thought it would be so fun for the kids to have their own star shaped pizzas and my mom had just bought a huge container full of cookie cutters for every holiday! And I like to make my own dough, but sometimes mama needs a shortcut! Any shortcut without having to buy expensive and less healthy bagel bites! So I loved these! Also! These are husband approved!! Haha
Recipe:
1 jar of your favorite tomato sauce (or homemade)
1 small bag (2 c.) of mozzarella cheese or pizza blend
1 can of crescent dough (you can buy a sheet like pictured)
So easy, you can tell how to make them from the photos!
1. Cut out dough or make small circle pizzas
2. Spoon desired amount of sauce
3. Sprinkle cheese
Bake according to directions on dough can! 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Viola! Let me know if you try it out!
