Sometimes it's easy to forget about thrift shops or at least to have the thought that they won't have what you're looking for. The DI has never failed me! I spotted a Gap denim jacket for $8 and got it for $6 (just by asking) and then worked some magic and converted it into a trendy denim vest. If you can't find it, MAKE IT!
